Any of you guys interested in taking a shot at decoding this. Just picked this one up yesterday.
Thanks

Can do some of it.

I don't know what the big long number across the top means.

68 = 1968 model year
3 = Oldsmobile
44 = 442
87 = Holiday Coupe (2-door hardtop)
OS = Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant
339204 = body number at that plant
TR 944 = Willow Gold strato bucket seat
Paint C = Provincial White lower body color
Paint G = Willow Gold upper body color
Paint G = ?

2-6-7 = ? = date built code of some kind?

Cool. I didn't think to look at that line of characters that way. I get the same thing for all the codes, and the last one doesn't show up, either. It's a little different with the hyphen.

I think paint 'G G' is upper and lower body colour and 'C' is the GT stripe colour.

Very cool, I didn’t know they put all of that info on the Canadian tags. You pretty much nailed it on the options. Car was definitely willow gold (green) with a green interior, but was repainted actual gold at some point.
Power widows
Auto
Console
Bucket seats (power driver)
A/C
Appears to have had vinyl top
Trunk release
Tilt wheel
Speedminder speedometer
Power rear antenna
And of course a 12 bolt Chevy rear
Engine has been changed to what appears to be a 66 400, E block, B heads. Also as a bonus car has a full set, and spare 15” bolt on center 1973 wheels.

Car has great potential, solid frame, floors, and trunk. I found about 20 miles, from home in the back of a pig barn, where it had been for 20 years. Prior to that the car was in North Carolina. Still has Langley Air Foce tags in the window.
