64 vs 65 cutlass

What parts from a 64 would fit on a 65? Just picked up a 65 cutlass and I have a 64 cutlass parts car for sale near me and wonder if its worth picking up for My 65?

The instrument panel is the same, but one painted silver and the other black.

You may already know, but in 1964-65 the 2 door and 4 door shared the same frame. The portion of rear quarter panels behind about the center of the rear wheels back is the same on both. High demand for patch panels if its not rotten.

If the price is right I suspect you could sell many of the 1964 parts you don't need for your car. You've probably discovered not much of these cars is reproduced. The side, rocker and wheel well trim is anodized aluminum and did not weather well. Depending on what trim package you have on your 1965, I'm pretty sure the base line 1965 used the same wheel well trim as the 1964.
