68 Brake Booster Info

Can someone verify the OEM not repo vacuum valve on a 68 booster being straight or a 90*? OEM only please.

If your talking about the plastic check valve, they are interchangeable.

Are you positive about that? The 64-67 boosters used a straight valve and is of a larger diameter than the 90* valves. If you buy a repo booster for a 64-67 it has a 90* valve and WILL NOT accept the straight valve.

Mike,

From the parts book (Sept 1968 printing)
Tthe 66-67 FULL SIZE cars use the same check valve and same rubber grommet as the ones on the 68-69 A-body cars. That's P/N 5467023 valve and 5461808 grommet.
The 1966-67 A-body cars use check valve 5464705 and grommet 5461059.
