68 Vista brake booster install
On a stock 68 VC big block, what has to be removed to install new brake booster? Are there some particularly difficult nuts to get to?
Thanks

The 2 lower booster to firewall nuts are a challenge. Remove the nuts that separate the master cylinder and move it out of the way while being careful (no need to disconnect) not to hurt the lines. Remove the clevis pin clip and pin from the brake pedal under the dash. Disconnect the vacuum line and remove the 4 booster nuts and then remove the booster. Measure the length of the clevis position of the old booster and duplicate on the new booster. Do all the above steps in reverse to reinstall and your done. No bleeding necessary.

Having different type wrenches help. I found the adjustable box end ratchet, is a big help, also long and short, box, open end, and flex head ratchet. A combo of these is what I use. Also, make sure you have the cleves , hooked up before you tighten the nuts, I forgot once and had to loose them to connect it, no fun to do twice.
