Well the biggest reason is very early car (only a handful made) no paperwork and before the E was stamped on them. Possible but not probable. Would make it the #4 of #4 ever known.

IMHO I think it's the real deal. I have a friend who is very interested in the car providing the drive line is correct.

the “E” is on most but not all. So being I have a one owner car with an “ S”, I don’t buy the “ E” theory at all

This could be true. A POP and correct heads would go a long way.
