67 Sport Coupe Buckets w Headrests??
Were headrests available on the 67 Cutlass/442 post cars? Or just the Supreme with buckets? Trying to round up some buckets and found some 68's with the headrests, want to be correct (yes I know the 68 seats had plastic backs) Thanks!

Thanks but my question wasn't answered there. I know headrests were available in 67 but was wondering about the CS post cars as they got the cheaper interior and did not get the fold down armrest if bench seat equipped.

I pretty sure if a model had buckets for an option, the headrests were available. I think in 67 if you ordered a reclining seat, headrests were mandatory. I know in 66 that if you had a reclining seat, headrests were not mandatory. I had a 66 with a reclining seat and no headrests.

I can agree with that but like the F85 could not get buckets thinking there could be some uncertainty about the Sport coupe and headrests. Just want to be sure. I believe headrests were available on some bench seat models in 67.

The Sports Coupe was built on the Supreme platform and I believe that headrests were available on that platform with buckets. Yes there were some bench seats with headrests but not sure about 67.

Reading this it looks like the headrests were available in the Sport Coupe.

Just to follow up on this thread, for the 1967 model year, bucket seats were standard and ONLY AVAILABLE on the Cutlass Supreme. You could not get factory buckets on lesser Cutlii that year. This is also why for 1967, the 442 package was only available on the Supreme model line. Bucket seat headrests were RPO A81. By the way, you COULD get headrests on the bench seats in other Cutlii under RPO A82.
This "Supreme only" bucket seat thing spilled over to the Delta 88 line that year also. Bucket seats were standard and only available in the Delta Custom for the 1967 model year. Yes, they are the same seats as used in the A-body line, and yes, headrests were also optional on those.
