Does anyone here know where to find the 60-0 miles per hour braking distance specs
for say a 1970 Olds Cutlass or 442 ?? Trying to get a ballpark estimate, but factual.

What is the weight of a Rocket 350 1970 Cutlass S VS a 1970 Olds 442 ??

 

When it comes to stock braking of vehicles of this age. I think the closest you are going to get to accurate is. 60 - 0 = eventually.

 

More like skidding distance vs stopping distance. They locked up the brakes and held on for dear life as opposed to a controlled braking test.

 

It is a '71 but it may give you what you want.

According to factory literature the 1970 hardtop coupe 442 weighs 3713 pounds. and the Cutlass S 3452 pounds.

 

Front disk or drum? Power or manual?
I have power disks but the performance of my cheap crappy pads would make for an unfair test. Right now, panic stops are just that.

Mine is a Cutlass S technically so it's <3500lbs then, that's what I was looking for.

Doubtful on a 442 convertible. I'm pretty sure they mentioned that it had the power disk brakes ion the video.
