2019 oca nationals - restriction
I received my JWO today and was a little surprised to see that "spray products" will not be allowed for use in the building... This refers to just about anything that would normally be used to detail your vehicle just before judging... Has this been an issue for other indoor events??? Not to mention "FINES" can be imposed...

Big Brother is and has been a reality since and probably before1984. Glove up in case you need to hug a tree...GAH!! And everyone gets a participation trophy...double GAH.
Of course, there is a common sense factor here which is blatantly absent from society today old and young alike. Spray or liquid(that's next I'm sure). Its broke and Darwin ain't allowed to proceed with his dutiful job. This is the legal talking heads covering their better ends.

Use your normal liquids, except leave the spray heads at home.
Saturate a cloth with liquid, apply it, and wipe off as you usually do.
I do the same for tire dressing in my home garage because the floor is polished concrete and it does get crazy slippery from overspray.
It takes more time, you use a bit more liquid, and you have an extra cloth to wash. However, the results are identical.
