Congrats to all that helped put on the show this year. With less time to pull it together I think that they did a great job!
Had another good time at the Nats this year, it was kind of a homecoming of sorts. The first Nationals I ever attended were in Milwaukee at the same hotel in 1981 or 1982 and the car I drove to it (my Dad's red 70 Cutlass W31) which also happened to be at the Nats this year (fully restored obviously).
Between visiting with family and friends, shopping the swap meet and judging, I was able to clean our red 1967 Cutlass conv enough to snag a First place trophy. With a couple of cars the Godon's restored in the same class, no way I was winning any more!
Supposed to be going to Ireland next year but I want to do the Nationals as well because I hope to have my W30 painted by then.

It was this years Nats. They were supposed to be in MA. but the drama caused the GMO chapter to rescind their proposal & thus the Milwaukee Nats.

This reminds me of the business world. In my industry, we have manufacturers who refuse to sell product to viable, qualified customers because they think that somehow it will hurt the customer and grow their sense of self importance. (i.e. drama)
All that actually happens is they gain competition instead of business.

That would be AWESOME!!! Given it's still 3 years out but that should hopefully give me enough time to finish everything I'm working on lol.
I'm really hoping that rumor comes true!
