This car has a kit sold by Hurst to build your own Hurst Olds in 77 it's not "home brewed". I've read a period article in "Car Craft", I think it was, that explained the kit and what you got for your money. I think it showed the 77 prototype with one side painted white, the other black.
This car is fairly well known and I believe it is accepted as a "real" Hurst Olds. I do remember reading about this car somewhere besides the old HOCA newsletter pictured. A Hurst Hatch equipped 403 77 Supreme with all those extra parts, the price is not out of line.
Hurst sold other conversion kits but this is the only documented one?

This is not an accepted real H/O, its home built. Hurst did not sell a kit to build your own '77 H/O. Those vintage magazines listed the Olds part numbers of springs, cam, sway bars, etc, so you could build your own as someone did here. It's one of one because it was home built, period. The documentation is just stuff about the proposal car and that one which was featured in the H/OCA mag years ago.
'76 had a black car and a white proposal car, '77 had a black car and all three of still exist. Other you see like this one on the Supreme body are made up by individuals not Hurst. I posted a black car on fb made like this which again is just a replica of what could hv been, it's shown in the Hurst Heritage book and I photographed it back in 1984 and hv no idea where or what happened to it. Cool car never the less but not Hurst made or authentic, just a creation someone made a long time ago.

Based on the condition shown in the photos, I would agree, not a $10k vehicle... It's a Cutlass with an aftermarket kit, whether by Hurst or any other vendor... This would be very similar to the Hurst Aero kits developed and sold for the G-Bodies in the 80's...

That car is going to need a LOT of TLC. Everything plastic is going to be either rotted or broken. The white plastic sitting in the sun destroys most of it. White is the worst for rotting. Finding good interior parts is difficult. I have red interior on mine. It has always been parked in a garage when not in use. Even my bumper fillers rotted out. The price might be a bit optimistic.
