1972 Cowl Tag Help

I was wondering if someone could help me with this Cowl Tag on a 1972 Cutlass Supreme.

Chrisneu68olds' info looks good overall.

A65 is the bench seat (with center armrest on a Supreme), and covert is covert beige (tan).

Ideally, the 979 in the decoder should just come up as 'dark saddle' interior, not 'dark saddle bucket' since the car is obviously a bench seat due to having an A65 on the cowl tag, not an A501 (strato buckets).

Good point. Glad that people are catching things like this. Changed to "Dark Saddle Vinyl". While looking at my reference material, 979 that states both Bench and Buckets, i.e. 4257 states bucket AND bench...so it depends on which which accessory code may or may not be on the tag unless there is an assumed variable stating something like "if it is not bucket, it is always bench" but I don't think that is going to fly.

Not sure how I am going to account for that one yet using query logic. The difference is based on the two digit sales trim code, in this case 19 v. 39 where the first digit is the seat type (1=Bench, 3=Bucket) and the second digit of 9 (9=seat color, in this case Saddle), but that is not on the tag itself. A more generic statement of interior color may be best and IF there is a seat type option code stated that just clears things up. Or maybe I need to split the code into pieces...the consistent variable is the final digit which matches the color...

Still a work in progress.
