1971 W30 Broadcast Sheet - need to locate vehicle

Hello Everyone,
I have an original 1971 442 W-30 broadcast sheet which was given to me in the late 90's when I met one of the prior owners of my 1970 W30 I purchased in mid 80's. Whew...I know how I felt when I was given this document, thus I want to return the favor and do the same. I'm not interested in money, I just want to reunite and give this critical piece of documentation to whomever owns the car. Hopefully the vehicle still exists.

The 1971 442 W30 was in Arizona, Viking Blue in color and BODY NUMBER: 355780.

If the car is located, I will require proof of ownership along with a picture of the cowl tag on the car showing the body number, this is to protect me/document from scammers. Please check your body number and or help spread the word to help find the vehicle this document belongs to.

Do not contact me requesting more information, photos, proof, etc...believe me I have it and know the importance of this document.

Very commendable! Kudos to you and hopefully the car is still among the remaining few of the 920 built. Good luck with the search

If the card has a vin on it you can do a nationwide vin search and may find it that way. But hopefully someone has that car and needs that piece of history to prove its real.

There will not be a VIN on it as it was a Fisher Body document and therefor has the body unit number assigned by Fisher. The VIN was assigned later on after the Oldsmobile plant got the body from Fisher.

Broadcast card (For a '72 U Code Cutlass Supreme owned by Scott (Oldspackrat))

That is a great thing you are doing. Is this the car you are looking for?

Hello Texas442,
Unfortunately this is not the correct vehicle for the document I have, but I appreciate your willingness to help.

I know this is like a needle in a haystack, but I'm really hoping the vehicle can be located...C'mon team....keep up the hunt!!

i did the same on a 66 hemi belvedere convert broadcast sheet years ago ( well now decades) i bought it on ebay for 10 bux..i felt it needed to be reunited with the car...called Galen and he confirmed the car was still alive......

the guy was in tears...was a great day....got some serious feel good points...gave it to the guy..no charge

very few 66 hemi converts....4 stick 6 auto..this one was an auto...

if you do a search there are muscle car lost and founds just for stuff like this..

Unfortunately not the correct vehicle as the one found on the URL link has the wrong # and interior color, the broadcast card I have shows it having blue interior...

Im curious if you find the owner and it is a dealer would you just give it to the dealer for free?,becsuse now he would have a reason to ask for more money for the car

The desire to reunite the broadcast card to the correct vehicle is the reason for reaching out to the Oldsmobile community in assisting with finding the vehicle. The answer is yes, I would give the document for free/no charge to the rightful owner, even if its a dealer.
