1970 Tornado Standard Non W34 Valve Size

I was hoping someone could clarify what size intake valves are found in 1970 standard non W34 Toronados from the factory? The factory service manual states 2.077” (also states the 350cid has 2.077”), the 1966-1975 Oldsmobile Parts & Accessories catalog appears to list it as having small valves, and 442.com notes the valves to be both large and small depending upon where you look on the website. Any help is appreciated!

2.07 on both Toro motors
2.00 on 350 W31
1.88 on all other 350s.

The service manual has the 350 and 455 info swapped. There is a 2.00 inch intake valve used on the 2bbl 455 engine that was available until Feb of 1970

Well, I have one data point that says different. I would love to hear the experts. In 1988 I pulled the engine from a 70 Toro. E head 455. Vin matches the car I still have the protecto plate. Belonged to a friend's father. It had the small intake valves. Tom

You would be correct. The 1970 Engine Assembly Manual confirms that only the UW and UV code W34 motors (along with the UL code W33 motor) got the same 405587 cylinder head assemblies as did the TW, TV, and TU code 442 motors. The lesser Toro motors (US and UT code) got the same 405586 small valve cylinder head assembly used on every other non-W 455 engine that year. The 1970 CSM shows this incorrectly.
