1968 442 Build sheet question

The build sheets that have been found on top of the gas tank, was it between the gas tank and rubber mat or was it between the rubber mat and the car?

The one I found on a '67 Framingham 442 was between the mat and the tank.

Thanks guys. I dropped my tank a little yesterday but I couldn't see any thing. In order to see what's under the mat I guess I will have to drop the tank all the way down. What's the easyest way to drop the tank? I am hopeing that it's there. My car has only seen the rain twice in 36 years. If it is there it should be in good condition. I hope.

Just a note that if you have a Lansing car, be aware that it is *extremely* rare to find one. More likely to find a Broadcast Card in the interior.

Kurt,

Thanks. My car was built in Linden New Jersey. So far I have yet to find anything. Is there any other hidden place where they might have hidden them?

On Lansing cars, have the broadcast cards been found under the headliner, dash or back seat side panels? That's the only place I haven't looked yet for mine.

Dan, same places for build sheets, too. Under carpets and *anywhere* in the seats, too.

I'll second that. All I found above my gas tank was dirt. I swept it up, put it in a bottle. It's original dirt after all.
