1970 442 W-30 Build sheet
1970 442 W-30 Build sheet
Have had my 1970 442 Conv for 10 years, bought it off the original owner, who I have known for years and I drove in the the car when I was 16, back in 1978. My quetion is this: I have two build sheets (found in seat back pass& rear back seat) neither say W30 anywere?
What gives?
I bugged the owner for 2 years to sell until they finally gave in.
I know this is the real deal, it has the correct rear, trans, engine, power disc brakes. It is a auto trans & A/C.
This car was ordered from the dealer.
I dont think back in 1978 anybody would put W-30 emblems, red inner fenders, or all the others to make a clone.
I have never seen a white 442 with the light blue stripes & interior?
Any comments would be appreciated.
How can I post a picture?

Your vin would work for a w-30. The papers you found may not be the build sheet but instead broadcast cards, I don't think they would say w-30 on them. The only info the vin. contributes is a Lansing built car, which a w car has to be.
