1966 ignition switch Fusick

I ordered a new ignition switch from Fusick, the chrome bezel threads do not bite on the new switch threads, its definitely smaller. I called them they said thats the only one they have. I even bought another bezel, same problem.Anyone else encounter this and where did you get a switch that the threads work correctly?

I have one (1) remaining +++ N.O.S. +++ D E L C O +++ in the OLD DELCO Tin Can --- but it may be more money than you are willing to spend...
and, that milk crate with all my ignition switches is not convenient to get to when the van is full.... It will be a little warmer (40° - 45°) Tuesday through Thursday... Could pull a good bit of the back of the van apart to get to that milk crate....

Call me, if you are interested..... Craig --- 516 - 485 - 1935..... New York....

I think Standard Ignition still sells an ignition switch. I may even have one.

I ordered one from OReilly’s, it just came in and it was a standard brand. Same problem the diameter of the new switches are smaller than the original units because the bezel just falls on there. Dang Fusicks should be selling me one that is correct, they are supposedly the industry standard.

That doesn't surprise me at all with Fusick. I bought a set of plug wires from them that just did not work. I called them and they just said send them back. They didn't seem to care they did not work. I wonder if they sold them to somebody else. I also had a new ignition switch for my 54 that I bought from them. It didn't last a month. I went to ebay and found an NOS one in the orange and white Delco can. It is still working several years later. The quality on much of the Fusick stuff leaves a lot to be desired. They are never my first choice.

WOW -- 75 % restocking fee -- that is bold....

This is my 50th year in 2021 with a 0 % restocking fee for all 50 years...... Heck, I have taken items back I sold years later, to people who have sold the car ... Or like Mopar John's $ 800 sale -- when his car was totalled.... Still 0 % restocking fee.....
