1964 442
As noted, there will be nothing on the cowl tag to designate B-09 or 4-4-2. The only things that point in that direction are the 2L (4-speed) code, which was mandatory with B-09 in '64 and the Lansing designator. These don't prove that it's a legit 4-4-2 (plenty of Lansing cars were built without B-09 and any of those could have been equipped with a 4-speed) but it had to have them to be real.

I have it from a couple of different sources (but internet, right?) that they were all built in Lansing, which would make sense as they were a limited run with fewer than 3000 manufactured. However, I did find a reference in Wikipedia (of all places) that suggested some may have been built in Fremont. I've found no mention of any having been produced in Canada, but I defer to your greater knowledge.

I would love to know where you got that info about the '64 Oshawa cars! Do you know approximately how many were produced in Fremont?
Update
Bryan Benz is Keener on CO. Here is a thread that has talk on the Oshawa 64 442. Post # 22 has the info.

I only know of 1 Oshawa built 442; it is a holiday coupe with build date first week of March. this is early but not impossible given the marketing department released a document on 2/21/64 stating the B09 option was now available. I have never seen this car, only know about it because of info collected by Denny Urban. As far as Fremont built cars, I know of at least 9 cars which is about 10% of the cars on the list of known 442s we have found over the years. If I had to guess, I would say under 20% of the 2999 cars built were assembled at Fremont. As an aside, without proper documentation or photos from the mid 60s, I would question any Fremont car that does not have a K20 air cleaner.
However, I wouldn't use this as a deal-breaker -- I shudder to think of how many of these were tossed in favor of open-element aftermarket units over the last 60 years.
Thanks for the other info. Adds perspective.
