Same water pump is used from 1949-62 with minor differences between airconditioning and non-air. Someone will have one. Original p/n grp 1.069, p/n 382690 49-62 except A/C and F85. 382691 is the 54-62 pump with A/C.

Fuel pumps are rebuildable.

You may have to go the rebuild route on both. There are people who do it.

Yeah it looks like Fusicks units are rebuilt and they are the only ones I can find.

I got the water pump and the rebuild kit for the fuel pump from Fusicks. Ouch

I'm gonna give rebuilding it myself a shot.
Any tips from someone who's done it?
I do have the service manual and it doesn't like too intimidating but if anyone has some tips I will appreciate it.

Thanks

Spoiler

Cleaned outside and rust proofed with POR 15. Went ahead and ordered new shocks while tank was out and finally got them Monday. Installed shocks, tank and water pump yesterday.
Today's plan is to pull fuel pump and rebuild. I will also need to make new hard line to carb as PO had a rubber line there.
Im Also in the middle of switching out the generator to an alternator so have a couple brackets to make before I run hard line to make sure it clears.
So far so good as everything has been as advertised but may be another week, (or 2/3) before she fires up. I don't work fast.🙂

I also did new coil and plugs and wires and headlights.
If all goes well it should be like a 62yo new car.
Thanks for the update and I am glad your problem is solved, I am happy to hear that.

Thanks guys!

She fired right up and runs like a top.
No more miss under acceleration, it actually accelerates pretty good for a big girl.
Bump the key and she starts right up and idles smooth as butter.
I don't want to jynx myself but it is a whole new beast now.

Thanks again for all yalls help
