1961 Starfire
My gas tank is beyond repair and they are not reproduced to my knowledge. I am told they are 1961 only and maybe 1962 also. It has hundreds of pin holes and some up to 1/8" diameter. I found 2 used ones in Hemmings and they are $350.00 plus $50.00 shipping. Add $125.00 for American Metal Cleaning to dip and strip it and you have $525.00 in it and it may or may not be as bad as the one I have. Does any one have any suggestions short of installing a fuel cell???
