15" Rallye SS2 Are they worth $50.00

Was wondering if you guys think these rims are worth $50.00. I was thinking about picking them up and storing with my other olds stuff. I may get some tires for them and have an alternate set with my current hubcaps for my 66. Are these pressfit center caps? Also anyone have a good place where to get centercaps new ones are insanely expensive from jegs.

$50 for the set is a good price as long as you're picking them up "relatively" locally or you're not having to pay too much for shipping. Yes, those require the snap-on center caps.

Olds probably made millions of the snap on caps, so finding a used set should be relatively easy and cheap (driver quality maybe $10 apiece). And yes, the 15" rims are a great deal at $50 for the set, I've seen them go for ~$30 each. A lot of people want 15" rallyes for earlier cars that had 14s, I use them on the back of cars to get a cheap rake.

For $50 bucks, you could even put them on an olds-themed trailer.

Those little what looks to be silver inserts on the rusty one, is that a repro item and does the wheel need it. I think only that rim has it.

If what you see in the photo is all that you are getting for $50, just be aware of the cost of the bezels, trim rings, and centers. Buying these parts individually can quickly exceed the cost of a more complete set of wheels.

The wheel doesn't "need" any of it, but might make it a little more attractive to you. Here's a pic of a 15" bolt-on cap wheel on my car. The pic was taken a bit too close, but it will give you an idea of a complete wheel with cap, bezels and trim ring.

Those go for $25-30 a piece out here without any trim. Everyone uses those here in the flatlands. Car show guys, racers, derby, & roundy round guys.

The bezels can be had cheap, just a little patience. Start checking out local swap meets and craigs list to get all of the trim pieces.

I've got all the bezels you need, a buck apiece plus a little for shipping.
