What are they and where do I connect these cables?
This is probably a dumb question… but I really need some help here. The car won’t turn on and by looking at the service manual, o found that the pink wire is related to the ignition but I am not sure about the orange one. All I know is that the car is not starting and I have no idea who unplugged this cable, could you all provide me some help? Thanks in advance! This is the cable I am referring too, it’s under the dash.
Those are for the TH400 kickdown switch that mounts to the accelerator pedal. They have nothing to do with starting the car. You clearly don't have a TH400, but the wires are built into every harness. They have been taped up under the dash unconnected to anything since the car was born.
FYI, the mind reading thing still isn't working, so when you ask a question, year and model and engine and trans are useful information to provide if you want a useful answer. As for "the car won't turn on", exactly what does that mean? Is there no power at all? There's power (lights and horn work, for example) but the starter won't crank? Some other problem? Again, it's hard to help if you don't provide more info.
