Tic Toc Tach wiring...
Hi guys, does anyone have experience with the aftermarket wiring for the tic toc tach? I am just confused about how the end fits together. I see that the plastic parts slip in together and twist to lock, but unless there is tension on the spring in the large white plastic piece, what keeps it locked together and the contacts connected? I have some pics below.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Tach fuse
FWIW, the aftermarket tach fuse wiring I got from Parts Place required some modification so that the fuse would actually fit the fuse holder. I think I ended up shortening the spring in the fuse holder by snipping a few coils.
For 1969, the CSM specifies a 2 amp fuse. Not sure if it is applicable to your year car. Note that the fuse provided by the Parts Place with the tach wiring was 0.5Amp and not correct.

Thanks guys, with a bit more research I went with a 2 amp fuse. I too had to cut some coils out of the spring to make it fit. It is in, and both the clock and the tach work. It looks great. Now, on with the carb install...
