68-72 tach in line fuse

68-72 tach in line fuse

What's the exact length & AMP for the inline fuse.

No books in front of me and a long time since I messed with my wiring. I don't think there IS an inline fuse for the tach from the factory. Could be wrong.......

There is an in-line fuse in the brown wire segment that runs from the tach to the firewall connection box. I believe it's a small fuse - 2 or 3 amp. Check the Chassis Service Manual towards the back where options are listed. It has a wiring diagram for a car with rallye gauges and I believe it tells what size of fuse is in line.

I believe it's a AGA 2 which is a short fuse about 1/2" long and is a 2 amp unit. That's what a 66 tach uses and the holder looks the same.
