Under hood wiring

I quit drinking 7 years ago.....starting to rethink that as I bought a project car! Here is what I got, 68 olds. 442. I purchased new wire harnesses for the engine compartment, both the engine and front lighting. After hooking everything up I put in the battery. Why would the tail lights and under dash lights come on when they have not been instructed to do so? Is the relay on the inner fender the horn relay? It has a red wire that comes from the alternator on 1 terminal, a wire coming from the positive terminal off the battery on another terminal, pink w/black wire, dark green wire, and black wire with spade terminals. Not that it was he right thing to do but I took the wires off from the old and replaced them on the new.??? Why must those tail lights do this to me?

The horn relay is also the junction block and buzzer for the key (pink wire).

The headlight switch could be bad but, the only way to find the problem is with a test light or voltmeter and a wiring diagram
