The factory service manual would be very helpful for you right now. There is no single diagram showing all of the wiring under the hood. Rather, there are several, depending on what system is under discussion (wipers, horn, ignition, battery/alternator, cruise control, oil pressure/coolant temperature, etc.). There are figures and diagrams in various parts of the manual, some in the electrical section and some elsewhere.

Can you be more specific about exactly what wiring you need to fix?

In the meantime, if you don't have them, get yourself one of these:

and one of these:

The second one is important because not all electrical info is in the chassis manual. Anything in the passenger compartment, like power windows, locks, seats, that sort of thing is covered in the body manual.

I am looking to clean up everything under the hood. I pulled motor and had it rebuilt and want to cleanup the under hood look.

Is everything hooked up and running? Is the issue just cosmetic?

From what you say, it sounds like you just want to make things look right. What you really need, then, is someone to take several nice photos of the underhood appearance of their '74 Delta 88 or 98 so you can see exactly how things are routed.

I can post pics of a badly abused '73 engine compartment with the wrong engine, but I doubt that'd help .
