Under-Carpet Channel Wire Channel

I have the Autowire kit, what are people using for the Under-Carpet wire Channel?

Why can't you reuse the original plastic wire channel? Am I missing something?

Yes, I'm installing a new wiring harness.

I think this is what I need, just looks confusing because the picture shows the underside

Why get a proprietary channel like that? You should just use wire loom. You can get it at any hardware store and it's so easy it can't be screwed up by HF.

I am looking for suggestions.
That's why I asked the question in the first place "what are people using for the Under-Carpet wire Channel?"

The original is nothing more than a 7' length of tri-fold plastic. Honestly, think about posting in the Classified Parts Wanted sub-forum. Could be a good chance someone has one or can easily find one on their next trip to the salvage yards.

I just finished installing mine from Autowire and used the original factory tri-fold plastic cover because it helps to keep it flat. The Wire Loom Tubing mentioned above will make the carpet stick up. To be honest the AutoWire body harness I received was wrapped in a black covering and really does not need the tri-fold but I choose to use it.
