Turn signals not flashing

Turn signals not flashing
Just finished restoring my 442. I put the bumpers and lights back in. I installed LED bulbs.
The turn signals light but do not flash. I can manually move the turn signal lever up and down and the tail lights blink. The emergency flasher mode does blink the tail lights.
I replaced the turn signal flasher "Fuse". That did not change.
Any ideas?
thanks!

The stock electromechaical flasher uses the current draw of the original incandescent bulbs to head the bimetallic strip in the flasher that opens and closes the circuit. If you've gone to all LEDs, you likely don't have enough current draw to heat up this strip. You need an electronic flasher module that has a solid state timing circuit instead of a bimetallic strip. And be sure to replace the turn signal flasher under the dash. The one on the fuse box is for the hazard flashers (and that one needs to be replaced also for the hazard flashers to work).

Thanks Joe P I too have been chasing this gremlin for months. I've tried three different flashers don't think I tried two electronic flashers in the fuse panel and the under dash unit. Will get out there and try that in a couple days. Joe
