Looking at OPGI for a new turn signal switch for my 68 Cutlass and I see they have a couple. Not having the catalog in front of me I remember they have a white Delco and a blue something else. Do these colors just refer to the switch color itself or is there something more sinister here? Thanks....
There were two different vendors for the original switches, Delco and Boyne (sort of like how some years could have come with Moraine or Bendix brake boosters). As far as I know, they are functionally interchangeable. Note that most of the replacement Delco-style switches available today come with the 1969-up electrical connector and an adapter harness to mate with the 1967-68 connector in your dash harness.
