Hello. You guys have been great helping me out so far. I am stalling a new tich toch tach and I have a question about the braided wire.

There is a brown wire that connects from the coil on the dist. to the back of the gauge. The braided wire that surrounds the brown wire also has an eyelet.

I'm looking for help on where to exactly connect those two connections. Thank you for your help!

 

The overbraid gets connected to a convenient ground point. It's just shielding to prevent your radio from becoming an audio tachometer.
