1972 olds cutlass s 71 rebuilt 350 rocket hei distributor. Not sure exactly where the green wire splices into I hear brown wire but not to sure also tach was previously hooked up and had a connector on the green wire...pictures attached someone scratched a w on the side as we'll not sure what that means any help greatly appreciated

 

The two teminals on the side of the cap are labeled "BATT" and "TACH". The pink wire goes to the BATT terminal, the tach wire should go to the TACH terminal.
