Slow wipers

Dumb question.... are 72 Olds wipers unusually slow? Wiring is new, voltage good. Both speeds work, but even on high, they seem to be only marginally faster than my other cars wipers.

I found mine to run a little slower than on the Caddy. Nothing too different.

Whenever I turn on the wipers in an older car, at first they seem too slow, but then I remember that they're really going the same speed they used to go when I drove these cars everyday.

Well the wiper motor is one of the few items on my car that's original.
But I guess I dont drive in the rain enough to put in an upgrade to delay wipers.
