Gene, there was a guy in Hartford that would do radios, I'm not sure if he's still doing them, but he did a few for me maybe 5 years ago. I'll see if I can find his info. I know he wanted to retire and that was before the Covid stuff.

Once you get to SC, Todd Electronic Radio in Greensboro NC has always done good work for me. They do mainly factory radios. I guess they're still in business, the oldest brother was pushing 70 last time I took them anything.

The Todds told me in 2018 that, except for belts, parts for the Delco cassettes were getting tough to source. Hopefully that's all your tape section will need.

Back in the '90s I worked at a place called Jimmy's Radio in Phoenix that did OEM repairs on factory radios and instrument clusters. We often referred customers to Dick's Speed-O-Tach for out of warranty and older vehicle repairs. I don't know if they still do radios but they are still in business for instrument clusters and gauges.

I just hope there are guys that repair radios. Too many people just gut them and put in new, smaller circuit boards. That's not a repair, that's a demonic possession!

I had my factory radio & 8 track repaired/serviced/refurbed by Instrument Specialties in N. Kingstown, RI. They did a fantastic job... I highly recommend their services. If you call, ask for Tim.
