Horn Relay Location

So the car didn't have power brakes originally but we have a power discuss brake conversion installed but with the new booster, master, and proportioning valve installed the stock location for the power distribution block is now covered by the proportioning valve. Have you guys ran into this problem? Do I just drill new holes to mount it? Oh it's a 67 442

Are you talking about the horn relay?

You are absolutely correct. I forgot that was the horn relay.

I am actually going to be installing my inner fender today so I will let you know if I have a similar problem. I would say that if the proportioning valve is in the way you will have to move the position of the horn relay. I'll keep you posted on how I make out with my install.

Ok thanks. I should be able to fire her up today if I go pick up a battery. I picked up 5 gallons of ethanol free gas on my way this morning to put in the tank. So she has fuel just needs fire now.

I thought it was located closer to the battery.

Looks Like I have the same problem. After I got the inner fender installed I see the new proportion valve is right in the way. I can still use the hole closest to the front of the car and drill a new hole and use a washer or 2 to get the proper spacing. The only problem I see with moving the relay in this manner is it impacting the wire clip for the wire harness located on the fender. I also hate to just start drilling holes everywhere. I took some pictures of my set up.

My car is a 67 CS. I used the Inline tube lines for disc conversion that accommodate the use of headers.
