Did an auto to 4-speed swap on my 70 442 convertible during a frame-off cleanup. While putting the steering column back in just realized that the column doesn't have the retainers for the manual trans backup light switch. Could it be these weren't installed on automatic console cars because the backup switch was in the console? Wondering how easy it will be to find these in a junk yard or should I just try and fab a pair. Better yet if anyone has an extra set laying around ??
