HEI distributor clamp

I just got one from eBay for $50 new ... ? .. well see how it goes..
But my question is the clamp.. online says the Chevy wont fit .im guessing the bolt? Heard its too long even for some Chevy's ..which buying another bolt isn't a problem.. wanted to know if it lines up and the bolt hole is big enough.. what did y'all use for your gm HEI??

I didn't have to change the clamp when I converted my 71 98 from points to HEI.

Make sure you keep a spare HEI module in your glovebox. Especially if you are going to continue to use the EBay module. The best HEI modules are either NOS or AC Delco.

BTW, I moved our posts to a new thread.

I didn't have a clamp on my motor... I'll check to see who has a extra module or a ac Delco HEI
