Battery Cable Question

71 442 455- I've noticed that the cables listed with M&H as well as INT show or list the positive cable as spring ring and the negative as a post connector. Am I missing something here? I thought they were both spring ring. The cables are at least 2ga, possibly 1 or 0. the positive cable is indeed a spring clamp but the negative is a side approach bolt type clamp. the original battery size wouldn't allow access to a spring clamp.

Shimmer, positive is spring ring, negative is post connector, as they indicate, earlier cars were spring ring for both.

Have any idea why they changed? Was thinking about going to side post as this was the change over period. But want it to be original. Thanks for the reply!
