Had the convertible out this weekend - pushed the wiper button to wash a little garage dust off the WS and I got a squirt, and the wipers stopped about half way up the windshield and that's all she wrote.

Fuse good (via meter check)

Power in and out of fuse block with key 'on'

No power at motor under any condition - key 'on', switch in any position.

Sounds like an open wire, but why so sudden like that - worked for a split second and that was it

Anyone have any experience in this one?

does anything else not work ? radio lighter headlights etc ?

Id first take a look at the wiring diagram and see whats on th esame circuit and if it works....

 

This is isolated to the wipers - everything else is operable
