57 olds super 88 with 6.1

Hey I’m new to the older olds and I’m trying to find why I can’t get any spark out of distributor I had it once to the coil with a msd box but now I have none I have installed a pertronix set so I don’t know how much of difference that makes any wiring diagrams for this car would be great or even anyone that has converted them to hei I would do also

Did this car run before the "improvements"? I'd start with points and get the car running well that way first, THEN try "upgrades". You may find that you don't need them. The wiring diagram is in the Chassis Service Manual. If possible, get a paper original, not a copy or a reprint. There are several originals on ebay right now.

If you have a Pertronix module in your distributor check out the directions you got with the kit and make sure it's installed correctly. Here's there website if you need the install directions.

no the car never ran it has never had spark since I owned it I have replaced many things before I did the Petronix set and still nothing. Ik coil is new the cap and rotor, plugs and wires, and I did replace the points at one time and then went to the Petronix recently.
