1987 olds cutlass cruiser: crank but no spark

Hi, i recently purchased my 87 with a no start, figuring that it be a simple fix. However, I have traced wires, replaced ignition coils, ignition coil module, crank sensor and ignition switch. however it is still not starting. any ideas??

Did you verify that you have spark? Did you verify that you have fuel pressure at the test port? Can you hear the electric pump turn for two seconds when you turn the key to START? I'd once again suggest that you stop throwing parts at the car and start troubleshooting first. And which engine is this?

You said you traced wires, do you have 12V at the distributor?

The 1987 Cutlass Cruiser is the wagon version of the FWD Ciera. The cars with the Buford V6 use a crank-triggered coil pack, There is no distributor.

Unfortunately the last Olds RWD G-body Cutlass Cruiser was in 1983. Starting in 84 that nameplate went on the FWD A-body Ciera wagons.
