1969 cutlass wipers not working help

help what am i missing?

having problems getting wipers working on my 69 olds ive only had a few weeks, wipers dont move but motor heats up
Have new motor installed
checked dash switch with ohm meter-ok
checked light blue and black wire from motor to switch with ohm meter
12vdc to yellow wire on motor
When i turn wiper switch i hear a click ,then motor gets hot and doesn't move
have wiper xmission dissconnected
ran ground from batt to wiper case-ng

Off the top of my head sounds like you got a bad motor. Was it used, rebuilt, NOS?

Try taking it off the firewall and testing it. With power, control and ground, and no binding issues, it should work. Leave the crank arm on it and see if you can break it loose when the motor starts.

wipers fixed

It did end up being a stuck worm gear in the motor repairs same and back in business thanks
