1969 442 Transmission Kick Down Wire

I've reviewed my photos, my ASM, and my CSM and I can't see where the clip and the wire path to the TH400. Can anyone give me some help on this?

Not sure if turbo 350 is same, just pulled engine/trans from '70 cutlass. The wire came out like the accelerator cable thru firewall and down to front side on passenger side of trans.

Thanks Chris but my TH400 has the connector on the driver side.

Not sure what you are asking about, but there is a switch on the accelerator pedal that is the kick down for the TH 400. These pics are from a 70 442 w/a 400 turbo. The 69 b/b with the 400 is the same type unit. Mine are anyway. Hope this helps some.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm looking how to route the black and orange wire that plugs into the driver side of the transmission. There is also a brown plastic clip that clips somewhere along the firewall to hold the wire.

Oh, ok. I will look in the am and see if I can find it for you. If it's the same for the 70.
I haven't pulled the trans on it yet, so maybe it's still where it should be.

Randy, I took a look this morning and mine was just hanging from the harness. No clip to be found.

It's not. TH350 uses a mechanical cable. TH400 (and Jetaway) uses an electric solenoid.

Thanks fellas I guess I'll just let hang it as well. I'm going to a car show tomorrow and should be able to spot something there if anything should be different I'll post a picture.

Seems to me that there is a white plastic clip to hold the wire, that fastens to the side of the trans case just above the kick down switch.
