Wiper Switch (71 Cutlass)
Pull the speedo & fuel gauge & put your phone in there with the camera on the selfie mode & you will see what you need to do. There are 3 1/4" screws that need to come out after you use a 1/8" or 1/16" allen wrench, I forget which size, to remove the "washer" **** from the front. The connector pulls right off the switch & it is pretty easy to replace.
If you have never pulled your speedo &/or fuel gauge, you'll need to remove the 4 phillips screws from the woodgrain bezel surrounding them & then the 1/4" screws that hold those gauges in the dash. The speedo has a small tab at the bottom of the cable where it meets speedo that must be pushed towards you then you can pull the cable off the speedo. Use a small flat screw driver to GENTLY pry the connectors off the gauges.

Hi Again
Would you know how the multi plug connector goes in the back of the Fuel Gauge / Warning Light clock ? Is it just a push fit (and should pull off) or is there a retaining clip of some sort ?

I use a small flat screw driver & starting on one side, I GENTLY pry the connector off a little bit, & then do the same thing on the other side, going back & forth till it comes off. If the pins become loose or break off they can be repaired by you or me. I also restore the gauges & make them look & function like new if you need that service.

Hi Scott - A couple of questions-
Do you have any timeclocks for the 71 Cutlass?
Also are you any good with electrics I fitted a new wiper motor supplied by OPGI and it worked for time and just stopped working after about half an hour and now all I get is a clicking sound when I operate the washer pump. I thought it was the switch hence my questions but I'm now not so sure.
Any help appreciated regards Neale
