1967 cutlass Brake light indicator

Hello everyone I bought a 1967 cutlass with a 330 engine. I changed he front drums to disk brakes. The brakes light was always on before I did the change now it doesnt come on at all. Also my dash lights dont work. Before the conversion only one bulb worked in the dash. It was a dim light but it worked. I was just wondering if the brake light indicator has anything to do with the dash lights. Thank you

The BRAKE idiot light gets power from the same INST fuse that powers all the other dash idiot lights. Changing the front brakes shouldn't have disturbed anything unless you were fiddling around under the dash and shorted something out or pulled out some wires inadvertently. This is where you crack open the Chassis Service Manual to the wiring diagram and trace that circuit until you find the problem. We're not going to be able to do that remotely.

Working on a 66 and did a drum to disc brake swap

On the new proportioning valve there’s a wire that goes to a brake switch if I’m not mistaken. Wondering if this your problem

That would not cause an issue with the light not coming on, but one where it won't turn off.

I do remember a wire that wasnt hooked up. I didnt thiink it was a priority at the time. I also think the wire connector didnt match up to the valve, thats why I didnt do it

No power on both sides? Is the clip corroded, fuse blown?
