I am looking for any information on getting a new harness for my starfire. the whole harness has been messed up under the dash and under the hood. The car does run yet but the rest of the wiring is cracked and brittle with bare spots showing. Any help would be appreciated.

 

StarGeneral had a lead on a 65 coupe a couple weeks back, but he may snag the wiring harness for himself as he also has some wiring issues.

Good thing is except for the tach lead, all 1965 full-size Olds (88, 98, Jetstar I, Starfire) engine and dash harnesses should be the same. 1966, if not exactly the same, will be close. Get a 1965 shop book- it has color wiring diagrams among other things.

Any new wiring harness will be a custom build meaning $$$, but there are several places capable of building one.
