Header fitment in a 78 Delta 88

I plan on putting a 455 in my 78 Delta 88. Has anybody used headers or know if they will fit? Thanks!!

I'm coming in late.

Did you actually mount this up (73-77 A-body headers on 455 in 78 B-body?)

What was the outcome?

No, haven't tried it yet. I'm still getting everything together for the engine build. I may just use stock manifolds for it. I'll post on this thread if I go the header route.

I used W/Zs on a 455 in an '84 D88 and w/ brand new dealer parts-counter 307 engine mounts (because that's how the car was originally equipped) and there were no exhaust fitment issues, it cleared the steering shaft and every other spot that was supposedly a thing to watch out for. Had to drop the exhaust to service the starter and it was _tight_ don't get me wrong - but it all fit.

Apologies if this has been covered before, and maybe I'll get schooled - but I've not yet seen, either in the flesh or on the intertubes, anyone successfully running headers (any headers) on a big block olds in a 77-85 B-Body.

Am I just forgetting someone around having done it? Igor T. didn't run headers did he?

Does someone have a picture just hanging out in their back pocket to show and I'll just shut up?
