It almost did. I am using an improvised gas tank under the hood which prohibits me from shutting the hood. 25 mph and under seems to be the limit.

 

Very nice ride, makes me want to finish mine. Yes, we need a look at the exterior. What are your plans with it? I have a 63 that I am putting in a TH400 at the moment. Will put up a post when it's done successfully.
