Side trim for 49 help please

Hi all from sunny but freezing England, In the process of buying my first Olds, a49 88 coupe. its a club coupe and doesn't have the chrome side trim that runs from the headlight to the door. Is this normal on the club? even if it shouldn't have it I'm going to add it as it looks so good I cant imagine owning the car without them. Sorry to the purists! Question is where do I get them from? The only parts supplier for Olds that I know of is Fusicks, What others are there out there? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

don't know about the trim.
check fusick.com they have a partcatalog of different years/ type off cars.

it's maybe a little more expencive as others but it's easy to work with.

The 49 did not have the trim on the fender and door like you are talking about. That was added in 1950 and from some of the old timers I have talked with it was a common modification to add it to the 49 after the 50's came out. I doubt anybody reproduces it since the demand is so low. It is going to be probably close to impossible to find a complete set for both sides. Good luck with it. Welcome and send pictures of your car. I love those club coupes.
