‘57 in El Paso yard just placed

Noticed this yesterday at the west side pick a part in El Paso. Marked as a ‘57 88 model. Four door sedan. Chev engine conversion. Perhaps someone within a days’ drive can benefit from this.

Nice bumper and trunk lid. Emblem has crack but no pits.

Good chrome

Some interior parts left.

Yep it’s out of my wheel house. Way earlier than stuff am familiar with. Maybe someone here can benefit.

Thanks for the tip! Does anyone know how to contact this yard? What I really need is some pics of the vent windows, as I can't seem to figure out how the main rubber frame connects to the heavy cast chrome piece. I am restoring a pair of these but the customer sent them to a different restorer before I got them and they seem to be missing some parts. If I have to, I will buy a vent window to see how it's assembled.

This is a "pick a part" yard. They do not sell parts over the phone. Business model revolves around scrap. This car is a four door, and the vent window assemblies are likely different than those from a two door. But Frankly have no idea, due to the age of this vehicle. It’s outside my realm of knowledge. Put the thread up so perhaps a party here within a days drive could strip it of the trinkets they might desire for their car / projects.

Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure why Olds would have made different vents for 2 & 4 door but I suppose it's possible. At any rate I would think that they would be assembled the same way, as this is the info I'm after. If anyone can help with info or pics, it would be much appreciated! Thanks, Jerry @ Dr J's Restoration Rx

4 groove crank pulley. Was probably a factory A/C car.

This yard just placed it. Too bad the original Olds engine is gone, yes. Some funky bracketry on the Chev engine, yes.

There are probably some folks that would be willing to give a piece of their anatomy for that bumper, It is very nice.

The bumper and trunk lid disasapeared shortly after these pics were taken.
