Brake hubs contacting American Racing wheels

I believe that the unique (Raised Rib) design of my brake drums on my 69 Delta are not compatible with the Ametican Racing wheels I purchased last year. When the front rims are mounted, they touch the brake drum at the raised rim area closest to the front wheels. I have been meaning to correct this issue better than the interim band-aid approach I took by installing two washers on each lug before mounting wheels. This just allows a minimum clearance but lug nuts should be longer if I continue this approach.
Are replacement drums avail? Are spacers avail to replace washers? All input is appreciated.
Thanks

Notice raised rib area.

Replacement brake drums are N O T available through the "Chineseum" world of today's garbage parts -- and that is a GOOD thing....
I have N.O.S. very- U.S.A made Brake Drums and N.O.S. ++ Asbestos ++ brake shoes for this application, as well!!!
Always best to simply call me -- Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935...

To the OP, if your wheels don't fit without washers then contact the wheel manufacturer and find out what wheel they have that will fit properly. I am not an advocate of wheel spacers or bolt pattern adapters.
