Since this is a 3-year old post, I doubt you still have the 67/68 rotors, but thought I would ask.

Call Craig directly on this. He is only on line sporadically. He routinely gets new stock.

I never did buy the Fleetwood rotors because I was able to buy 2 '68 Olds rotors on Ebay from a gentleman's son who cleaned out a GM factory in Canada before it closed down around that time of the post. Craig wanted double.
Speaking of the offset, is the offset different on the Fleetwood rotors for sure of just they might be? Just curious from reading the old threads.

Delmont 88 --- see you have two threads about these HUB & ROTOR Assemblies -- and I'll answer you here, presently; I already did on the other one seconds ago......
I am not in the library much, as our SUPER moderator Joe Padavano (over 30,000 posts --- halping out the Oldsmobile world repeatedly) points out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DO HAVE those two (2) N.O.S. 1967 - 1968 N.O.S. Original KELSEY - HAYES Front Hub & Rotor Assemblies from the post from 3 & 5 years ago ----- and N.O.S> ++ Asbestos ++ Brake Pads for this application,
as well, such that you don't rip up to smithereens these very valuable Hub & Rotor Assemblies.......

ALWAYS Simply Best to CALL ME ------ Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935....... and I will tell you some very interesting stories about these rotors & the inquires through the years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend Kevin is finishing my project. 2000 camaro rotors, machined to fit.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the Olds rotor? I don't find these in a quick search of this forum. I see a lot of posts where people say they will measure, but they never post the results. Odd that this important data is completely absent from any discussion?

If you are able, please post the following dimensions:

Outer Dia
Overall height from rotor back to hub face
Hub face thickness
Rotor thickness
Hub hole Dia

I don't have the rotors any longer. I do know that the OD of the rotor is 11-7/8", and the rotor thickness is 1.25". The dimensions of the 69 rotor match the dimensions of the 2000 camaro, with exception to hub bore and bolt pattern.

You might want to read this thread (which has photos).

The rotors for a 2003-2006 Cadillac CTS with base suspension are actually closer to the OEM 69-70 rotors. The Camaro rotors have a different offset than the OEM rotors, whereas the CTS rotors are the same within a a few thousandths of an inch. I've had a pair of the CTS rotors machined to fit - which simply requires drilling new lug holes and opening up the center bore. They work fine. The Camaro rotors are a better match to the 67-68 full size rotors that use the four piston calipers.

So now we know:
OD = 11.88
Rotor Thk = 1.25
Hub Cast ID at MMC = 6.0, Thanks Joe, your link did provide a dimension!

Anyone got a big car wheel lying around? Measure the hub bore and we will have one more piece of the puzzle.

Also need overall rotor height and hub face thickness.

Ok, so when I looked the 2000 camaro rotor, it was so damn close to 69, all be that probably 6 years ago when I looked. I recall it being within 1/16 on hub height. With a floating caliper, it'll compensate. Here's some more progression.

The Delmont is back in service. My friend reports he took her out last night and pounded on the brakes, and has never felt such good brake pedal response. He also used a 71-76 booster and dimpled the fender well for the lines.

Alright guys, I'm going to try this out on my 69 delta. I'm on rock auto and they list two different diameters for the 2006 base cts rotors. one is a 298mm\12.72" and the other is a 302.7mm\11.92". can anyone confirm which one I should grab?

I saw that. So that's the size of the olds rotors so I would need the smaller rotor I'd guess...

Correct, they are 11-7/8 diameter. Also, the rotors that were used in the swap that I have documented are for 2000 Camaro. The finished product has been in service two years now.

Thank you. I guess i was under the impression, the Camaro rotors were best for 67-68 and CTS was best for 68-70

This build used '69 Delta 88 spindles and caliper brackets with the 2000 camaro rotors.

Camaro rotor are the best match for the 67-68 stock rotors, CTS are the best match for the 69-70 stock rotors. The friction surfaces on the Camaro rotors have a slightly different offset from the mounting surface. The reality is that this is much more critical on the 67-68 cars since they use fixed calipers. The sliding calipers on the later cars can accommodate this small dimensional difference. I used the CTS rotors because the one thing you don't know is if the dimensional difference matters at the limits of brake pad wear. Many things work fine under nominal conditions. You need to account for the service limits also if you really want to do proper engineering. See post #22 in this thread.

These photos are a CTS rotor compared to an NOS 69-70 rotor.
